Welcome to Stevenson University’s online orientation for those students participating in online and accelerated courses. All students new to this program should complete the orientation as specified to ensure your success in the program.

Before proceeding with the orientation you need to verify that you have received account information for logging in to Blackboard, Webmail and other Stevenson University systems. If you are an accelerated or graduate student and have not received your account information, please contact Cheryl Bosse at 443-352-4032.

To being the orientation, please follow the steps listed below:

STEP 1

Check your browser – This link will take you directly to the browser checker by launching a new window. Close the window before proceeding to the next step. For future reference, the direct link to the browser checker is: http://web.vjc.edu/browser.

This will verify that the computer you are using to complete the online portion of the orientation is using the correct browser (no AOL or other customized browsers) and has its permissions set correctly to run Blackboard. If you are unable to configure your machine correctly using the information provided in the browser check, you should contact Tech Support at 866-344-8190 to assist you with setting your machine up to run Blackboard.

STEP 2

Launch Blackboard by going to: https://blackboard.stevenson.edu. Login to Blackboard and choose the class called “GPS_100_OL.”
